Starting off with spa and leisure, first on our list is Brooklands Hotel and Spa, Surrey.
The intro was a busy hotel spa with 11 treatment rooms, roof terrace hot tub, waterbeds, sauna and steam rooms
The brief: Searched for a value added premium new spa treatment/feature to enable the introduction of an overall entry fee to use the spa. Overall design of Sun room should match materials and colours of the rest of the spa and hotel.
Our solution: Aluxurious and tranquil sun therapy and entertainment space featuring a large bar, seating for 15 customers as well as sunbathing for 10+ guests at any given time. The space can also be hired for special events such as exclusive hen do's and corporate well-being.
Following with Rudding Park Hotel and Spa, Harrogate
The intro: One of the best hotel and spa's in the UK. Multi award winning and top 3 UK hotel on TripAdvisor for a decade. Features hydrotherapy infinity pool, panoramic sauna, herbal bath steam room, luxury steam room, spa bath & garden sauna cabin, foot spa, heated loungers, shower experiences and sun deck
The brief: Searched for new premium spa treatment to ensure guests continues to be delighted with spa offerings and premium entry fee.
Our solution: First installation of Real Sunlight's newly designed premium "Spa Trippel" sunlight unit. Interior designed sun therapy room featuring heated relaxation loungers, premium wall coverings and a backlit wall mural of local nature. Spa visitors are delighted with the sun therapy and its positive effect on SAD and general well-being.
Lastly, Grange St Pauls Hotel, London
Intro: Part of privately owned London 5* hotel chain. City hotel and spa with health club and Asian themed premium spa.
Our brief: Searched for new premium spa treatment to help attract city clientele plus attract hotel guests to the spa
Our solution: Installed sunlight therapy in Asian themed relaxation room. Include in weekend and day spa packages to add extra value.
Now moving onto showcasing some of our care home instalments, which is very meaningful for us as we take great pride in bringing joy to everyone within these care homes. For our first project, we will be starting off with Colten Care Belmore Lodge, Lymington
The intro: Great private care home chain with 18 homes all with their own activity co-ordinators and fantastic facilities.
Our brief: Looked for wellness and activity facility to help entertain and improve residents wellness.
Our solution: A large underused sitting area was transformed into a tropical beach with separate beach bar area, several tables, and chairs so residents could both sunbathe, meet for activities and parties
The second care home is Godswell Park Care Home, Oxfordshire
Info: First UK Care home out of 18,000 CQC registered to be awarded outstanding in all five inspection areas. Truly one of the best care homes in the UK.
Our brief: Booked for wow factor facility to help attract luxury clientele and exceed their residents and families expectations
Our solution: Installed tropical beach room featuring plants decking, rustic Greek wall, beach bar, beach sand, wind fan and sound of waves. Real Sunlight room is popular with both residents and their visiting families and staff.
Last but not least, take a look at our stunning installation for the Wholistic Medical Centre, Harley St, London. Intro: Thee Wholistic Medical Centre brings together the best of both medical and holistic perspectives, with an emphasis on prevention, early detection, and early intervention. Dr Dayas's aim is to help her patients achieve better health and well-being by providing supervision and guidance on foods, lifestyle changes and specific nutrients.
Our Brief: To create an indoor Zen Garden in the middle of London where her patients and indeed herself could enjoy all the health benefits of Real Sunlight.
Our solution: Japanese Zen Garden themed therapy room with backdrop and wall mural. Incorporated eucalyptus poles and built a traditional Torii gate. Her patients have noticed relief to a host of non-specific symptoms including general fatigue, depression, joint and muscle aches, insomnia etc.
